thermal baths
Hungary is famous for its therapeutic thermal waters and the thermal baths built around them, which offer a wide variety of services. The most famous are the Gellért Baths and the Széchenyi Baths, which are considered among the most popular baths in the world. They welcome visitors daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.—both baths are easily accessible from the Mystery Hotel. Most of the baths were built in the 16th century, when Hungary was under the rule of the Ottoman Empire. Our concierge recommends the Veli Bey Turkish Bath among these, which has recently undergone a major renovation. In addition to its unique services, it is a superb example of Ottoman architecture.
